In 2003 an international congress on the “Caucasus and Central Asia in the Globalization Process” was organized by Qafqaz University in order to research the economy, international relations, literature, history and culture of the Caucasus and Central Asia, and to improve the relationship among concerned academic institutions and professionals.

This the second such international congress on the “Caucasus and Central Asia in the Globalization Process” will be organized to take place during the 02-05 May 2007, and will centre on the economic and international relations of the region.

Those who wish to participate or present papers to the Congress are required to send the abstract of their independent academic work related to the resolution of the current problems of the region in english, to the Secretariat of the Congress by email no lately than 31st January 2007 and full text 31th Mart 2007 at the latest. Later a full text will be requested from the successful applicants.

The languages of the Congress are Azerbaijani, Turkish, English and Russian (simultaneous translation will be provided). Only papers submitted in the conference languages will be accepted.
